Santa Fe Horse Photographer: Capturing the Bond Between Riders and Their Horses

This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Santa Fe, New Mexico, to photograph my northern New Mexico barn family and their clients. Being a horse photographer in Santa Fe is a true privilege because it allows me to connect with riders of all ages and backgrounds while celebrating their unique relationships with their equine partners. Over three amazing days, I captured moments filled with joy, connection, and the undeniable bond between horses and their humans.

A Multi-Generational Experience

One of the things I love most about being a Santa Fe horse photographer is the diversity of the riders I meet. During this visit, I had the pleasure of working with riders as young as seven years old to those as experienced and wise as 73! The mix of generations created a special atmosphere, with each rider bringing their own perspective, energy, and love for the sport. From the youngest equestrians learning to trot for the first time to seasoned riders who have spent decades in the saddle, every session was a chance to highlight their passion and dedication.
