4th of July Barrel Race

Roping starts at 9am both days.

Saturday: #13.5 Slide USTRC Qualifier, #12.5 USTRC, #11.5 WSTR, #11.5 USTRC, #10.5 WSTR, and #10.5 USTRC Handicap saddle roping.

Sunday: #9.5 WSTR, #9.5 USTRC Handicap saddle roping, #8.5 WSTR, #8.5 Handicap saddle roping, #7 USTRC buckle roping.

Mescalero Apache Ceremonial & Rodeo

Mescalero, New Mexico
July 1st-4th

Admission is $10, children $5, and children under 5 years old are free!

They have daily non-Mexcalero dances, traditional and non-traditional activities, the 43rd annual Mescalero celebration parade on July 3rd at 10am.

Rodeo starts at 1pm each day.

Events include bull riding, team roping, ranch bronc riding, tie-down roping, women’s breakaway, barrel racing, bareback, saddle bronc, steer riding, and youth barrel racing.
