Capturing the heart of your horse story.

Add Some Pizzaz to Your Equine Fine Art Session

Have fun and get creative.

When you think of an equine Fine Art Session, what comes to mind? Class, elegance, beauty…but what about fun? Fine Art Sessions don’t have to be super serious all the time. The sky is the limit when it comes to creativity! We can use gold leaf paper to turn your horse into a shining statue. We can use hair chalk for a pop of color and punk. We can add holi powder for puffs of fantastical color.

Fine Art Sessions are completely customizable – feel free to reach out with your wild ideas! I love trying out new things with these sessions!

What’s needed for a Fine Art Session to happen?

Ideally, I would need a barn, lean-to, or indoor arena to photograph the horse in. In a pinch, we can work with any kind of overhang to get the horse out of direct sunlight and I can set up my black backdrop behind them. You’ll hold your horse while your friend or my assistant uses various props to get your horse to pose certain ways and to get “happy ears”. It’s a blast and these sessions always have us laughing, especially if you have a fairly bombproof horse. After the Fine Art Session is done, I upload the photographs into Lightroom and Photoshop to work my magic. (Want to see how I edit them? Check out my TikTok for my #editwithme videos)

Once they’re meticulously edited to perfection, I’ll let you know that your photos are ready! Together, we can plan on what you can do with them – whether you want gorgeous lifesize wall art, or my favorite, heirloom albums. Check out my artwork page here!
